The Vantercor Centre for Inclusion and Equity

The Centre is Vantercor’s hub for organizational services, community programs, learning and applied research — the place where an assessment leads to targeted training, where a community’s needs shape a co-designed program, and where evidence feeds back into better practice.

Our impact framework

People. Communities. Systems.

Every Centre program is designed to create change at three connected levels.

People

Participation, knowledge, skills, confidence, access, social connection and well-being.

Communities

Organizations strengthened, partnerships developed, referral pathways improved, stronger networks.

Systems

Organizational practices changed, policies improved, evidence generated, lessons incorporated.

Our commitment

Nothing about inclusion, without meaningful participation.

Learning about disability, equity and community systems is stronger when it includes the perspectives of people who experience those systems directly. Across the Centre’s work — assessment, training, community programs and research — people with lived experience shape curriculum, review materials, advise on design and inform interpretation of findings. Where feasible, their contribution is compensated appropriately.

Experience is a form of expertise.

Start with the right first step.

An assessment, a training, a community conversation — we’ll help identify where to begin.
