About VGCHS
What is Vantercor Global Community Health Solutions Inc. (VGCHS)?
VGCHS is a federally incorporated, Alberta-registered public health and community development organization headquartered in Edmonton, Alberta. We work at the intersection of disability inclusion, health equity and community resilience — with organizations that want to do better, and communities that deserve better.
Where is VGCHS based, and where do you work?
We’re rooted in Edmonton, Alberta, and our first flagship initiatives are being developed there. Our founding vision looks beyond Canada’s borders, with a vision for responsible partnership across Canada and in underserved communities globally — but our current implementation focus is local, so that expansion is built on real evidence rather than assumption.
Who founded VGCHS?
VGCHS was founded by Dr. Ifeanyi Uzor, DrPH, a public health and disability inclusion strategist whose own lived experience with disability and early loss shaped a lifelong commitment to advocacy and systems change.
Is the website available in French?
Not currently — the site is in English only. VGCHS isn’t legally required to offer bilingual service as a nonprofit (that requirement applies to federal institutions and specific federally regulated industries, not to us), but it’s something we may revisit as our funding partnerships and reach grow.
Services for organizations
What services does the Vantercor Centre offer?
For organizations: an Accessibility & Inclusion Assessment, Disability Inclusion Training, Accessible & Inclusive Service Delivery support, and Organizational Capacity Development. For communities: Community Resilience & Well-being and Health & Social Equity programs.
How much do your services cost?
We haven’t published set prices. Every engagement is scoped to the organization and what it actually needs, so pricing follows a conversation rather than a fixed rate card. Request a consultation and we’ll talk through what fits.
How do I request an assessment or training?
Through our Contact page — by form, email, or phone. Tell us a bit about your organization and what you’re hoping to address, and we’ll help identify the right starting point.
Our initiatives
Is the Vantercor Therapeutic Group Home for Youth accepting referrals?
Not yet. The Youth Home is currently in development in Edmonton, Alberta, and is being built alongside the licensing, safeguarding and operational requirements it needs to meet before it can open. We’re not accepting referrals or placement applications at this stage — but we welcome conversations with potential partners and funders as the program is developed.
What’s the difference between the Centre and the Youth Home?
They’re sibling initiatives under VGCHS, not one nested inside the other. The Vantercor Centre for Inclusion and Equity runs our organizational services, community programs, learning and research. The Therapeutic Group Home for Youth is a separate residential program with its own licensing and regulatory path.

How can my organization or community partner with VGCHS?
We work with organizations, community groups, funders, governments and institutional partners in a range of ways — service engagements, community co-design, research collaboration, and funding relationships. Reach out and tell us which of those fits, and we’ll take it from there.
Is this website accessible?
We’ve done a full code-level accessibility audit against WCAG 2.1 AA and fixed everything it surfaced, but we’re honest that it’s not yet been tested by people who use assistive technology day to day — so we call it partially conformant, not finished. If anything on this site doesn’t work for you, we want to know.
